1926/03/01 Paramount Pictures Distributor The Plaza Theatre opens with a private showing of the romance film "Nell Gwyn" and several live events on stage. Produced and directed by Herbert Wilcox, "Nell Gwyn" is a British National Pictures starring Dorothy Gish, Randle Ayrton and Juliette Compton.
1967/00/00 Verity and Beverley, Architects and Designers Architects The Plaza Theatre is remodeled into a twin cinema by Verity and Beverly.
