1565/00/00 After the 1st Turkish siege, Stubentor gate (lost) is rebuilt in renaissance style from 1555 to 1566 to a 25 m long box gate with bell turrets.
1862/09/19 Stubentor gate and wall are demolition up to today's Palais Coburg took place between 9 April and 19 September 1862. The Dr-Karl-Lueger-Platz is built. portions of the old wall remain in Stubentor station.
