0940/00/00 King Ramiro II of Leon gives Genadio de Astorga a votive cross in gratitude for the help received from the Apostle Santiago in the battle of Simancas (939) against Abderraman III. Cross of Penalba is on exhibit in the Museo de Leon.
1929/07/00 The Cross of Penalba is exhibited at the Exposicion Internacional de Barcelona.
