Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese ball made from mozzarella and cream. The inside of this sphere of cow's milk cheese is Stracciatella di bufala, a soft cheese produced from Italian buffalo milk, and the outer coating is mozzarella. It is thought that Burrata was created to Lorenzo Bianchino a dairyman who worked in the National Park of Alta Murgia at the beginning of the twentieth century. - AsNotedIn
