Statue of Robert Clayton is a seventeenth century sculpture created by Dutch sculptor Grinling Gibbons for St Thomas' Hospital. The marble statue is currently on display at the north entrance to ward block of North Wing at St Thomas' in London, England. The art works depicts Robert Clayton, the President and benefactor of the St Thomas' Hospital, in legal robes and full wig, carrying a scroll set on a plinth decorated with cherubs. The wall behind the statue, with an arch and pillars, maybe a section of the old St Thomas' Hospital building in Southwark, now demolished. - AsNotedIn
