Walter Heller
American
Walter Heller (1828-1909) was a wealthy financier and banker of San Francisco. His student days culminated in a PhD from the University of Gottingen. He organized the Heller Bruce Co, a successful investment broker firm in 1923. Heller later became a director of Wells Fargo Bank, in addition to serving as president and senior partner of his own brokerage house. He remained active in banking and brokerage circles until his death in 1956. - NPS
