Elizabeth Keith Weeks Burnham was born in Pittsfield, Rutland County, Vermont, and later became part of a prominent New England family whose members were active in religious, civic, and architectural circles. The daughter of Rev Holland Weeks Jr and Harriet Byron Hopkins Weeks, she married Edwin Act Burnham and raised several children, including architect Daniel Hudson Burnham and Clara Lillian Burnham Woodyatt. She spent her later years in Chicago, where she is buried at Graceland Cemetery, her grave unmarked but situated among other members of the Weeks and Burnham families. - AsNotedIn
