Henry Keck was an American stained glass artist who learned his craft as an apprentice at Tiffany Studios in New York before relocating upstate and founding the Henry Keck Design Studio in Syracuse in 1913. Working within the region's flourishing Arts and Crafts movement, his studio produced residential and ecclesiastical windows in collaboration with local architects, later contributing major commissions such as work for the New York State Capitol and restoration of the great chapel at Duke University. After Keck's death in 1956, longtime designer Stanley Worden — who joined the studio in 1929 — became director, continuing the workshop's legacy of handcrafted stained-glass design. - AsNotedIn
