Charlotta Bull Drayton

Charlotta Bull, daughter of the Hon William Bull, Lieutenant Governor of the Province of South Carolina, was born to distinction and gentle breeding in the province. In the year 1741 she entered into matrimony with John Drayton of Drayton Hall, thereby uniting two families of eminent station. Though her days were but few, she bore two sons whose public virtues and accomplishments secured her memory in the annals of the colony. - AsNotedIn
