Isabella Pinkney White

Isabella Pinkney White was the daughter of Maryland statesman William Pinkney and Ann Maria Rodgers Pinkney, and a member of the extended Rodgers-Pinkney family whose influence reached across early American politics, diplomacy and naval service. Born in Annapolis and later residing in Baltimore, she married Joseph White, with whom she raised a large family that included future Maryland governor William Pinkney Whyte. She died in Baltimore at age seventy-six and is buried in Green Mount Cemetery, resting among several generations of her distinguished family. - AsNotedIn
