Peter A Freudenberg

Peter A Freudenberg was an American artist, designer and Vietnam veteran whose work left a vivid mark on both South Carolina and Pennsylvania. After studies at Clemson University and the College of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he later received the Silver Star Award for Outstanding Alumni, he founded Pine Street Studio and built a career in commercial and decorative art. His most celebrated creation is the Peachoid, the iconic peach-shaped water tank in Gaffney, South Carolina, followed by award-winning designs for Sesame Place and a commissioned sculpture for the Elliott Museum.
