Mottville is a small village in Michigan on the St Joseph River near the Indiana border. Its most notable historic structure is the St Joseph River Bridge, a reinforced-concrete camelback span that once carried US-12 across the river. Just north of town, the Mottville Dam forms the Mottville Reservoir, with fishing available at the Tailwater access on the north bank. Canoeists can launch from the south bank at Mottville Canoe Park and paddle nine miles downstream to Bristol, Indiana. North of Mottville, Mill Creek Park on N River Road offers a meandering woodland path with views of the river. - AsNotedIn
