Delhi, Kansas, a small rural settlement in Osborne County, stood along the early farm roads west of Downs. Never more than a modest crossroads community, Delhi served nearby homesteads with a school, church gatherings, and local trade through the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. As the region's population shifted toward larger towns, Delhi gradually faded from the map, remembered chiefly East Fork Wolf Creek Pratt Truss Bridge, Delhi cemetery on S 20th Avenue and a few farm. - AsNotedIn
