Nubia Bridge is a historic bowstring truss bridge in Groton, New York, United States. Originally spanning the Fall Creek on Elm Street Extension near Nubia, it is currently located at a city park in the Town of Groton. It is said to be the only remaining Avery-Bartholomew patent bridge. Although the design appears simple and primitive, the bridge went on to inspire a patent related to the bridge itself and two patents for bridge piers. - AsNotedIn
