1873/00/00 Major Frank Hawkins Architect Major Frank Hawkins, a builder from Maiden, Mississippi, builds a two-story, Greek Revival and Italianate style residence for his daughter and son-in-law.
1873/00/00 Jane Hawkins Purnell Home The new Purnell home is a central hall, single-pile plan with a kitchen, equipped with a Belknap Homemaker wood-burning cooking stove, attached via covered walkway enclosed by lattice panels.
1918/12/02 Jane Hawkins Purnell Died Jane Boyd Purnell dies in Winona at 1.25 pm surrounded by her beloved family and a few intimate friends. Mrs Purnell is buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Winona.
