1901/03/02 Ralph M Munroe Benefactor Earliest known Church records of the Union Congregational Church are dated March 2, 1901. During the first three years of existence, a small chapel was erected on land donated by Commodore Ralph M Munroe.
1901/05/00 Solomon G Merrick Vocation Solomon G Merrick becomes pastor of the Plymouth Congregational Church. He is the first Congregationalist minister to serve the Church.
1916/06/00 Rebom,Phillippe Feliz Architect Construction begins on the Plymouth Congregational Church, a one story rectangular building of native oolitic limestone. Spanish stonemason, Phillippe Feliz Reborn, was commissioned to set the stone. Each hand-hewn limestone block will be placed by hand.
1917/08/00 Clinton MacKenzie Architect Plymouth Congregational Church is completed with a gable roof covered with corrugated clay tiles.
1954/00/00 Robert Law Weed Architect Designed by Robert Law Weed, Plymouth Congregational Church is enlarged by the addition of two transepts and a new chancel. This changed the plan of the church from rectangular to cross-shaped.
