The General Cochran Farm, three houses and a horse barn on 177 acres, is on the east side of the Mohawk Turnpike, just north of Palatine Church Road. The main 4500-square-foot house, with nine fireplaces, was built for General Cochran, by his son, Major James Cochran. A guest house was built in 1795 and the two stories high barn has 23 stalls. - AsNotedIn
