Flanders Callaway begins building a 2 story log dwelling near the Missouri River. The site is off MO 94, about 1 mile southeast of the Daniel Boone Burial Site and Monument. The house has been moved to The Historic Daniel Boone Home in Defiance. |

Daniel Boone's funeral is held in the Callaway's barn because the house is too small for the crowd of mourners. He was buried next to his wife at Old Bryan Farm Cemetery. The Daniel Boone Burial Site and Monument is located on a hill west of the BMV. |

Van Horn Tavern, aka the Gentry-Threlkeld-Van Horn Tavern, is built on the Boone's Lick Road between St Charles and Old Franklin, Missouri. In 2013 it will be disassembled and moved to Boone Monument Village. |

Jemima Boone Callaway dies at age 71 in Warren County, Missouri. Mrs Callaway is buried at Old Bryan Farm Cemetery in Marthasville, Missouri. |

A school house is built by a French settler in Erie, PA. In 1900, the school will be moved 39 miles west to Conneaut, OH. Over a century later, Bernardo Brunetti will buy the building on Ebay and ship it 680 miles to Boone Monument Village. |

A 2-story brick house is erected for the Dickhouse family, third owners of the property, on the same foundation that once supported a two-story log home built by the Bryan family. The home was restored in 2011-2012. |
