Klester is a medieval toll station located in Polna, Czech Republic, on a trade route between Bohemia and Moravia that originally connected Polna to Veznice. About 150 meters of the ancient roadway remains including a section carved into rock to channel travelers and their livestock through a narrow pass where they could be more easily counted and charged a fee.
