Marye's Heights-Sunken Road Line is a ridge and adjoining Sunken Road that formed the core Confederate States Army's defensive line at the Battle of Fredericksburg during the American Civil War. The position includes The Sunken Road protected by a stone wall, the Innis House, the Cobb and Kirkland Monuments, and slopes that rise toward Brompton House, where artillery supported the infantry line.
