The Ives-Taylor House is a large wood-frame Federal-style house and now a mortuary in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Built for George H Ives, the five-bay facade is marked by corner Ionic pilasters, modillion-lined cornices, and attic fanlights set on pilasters. A flat-roofed porch with slender Ionic columns shelters the main entrance, where half-length sidelights and half-round Ionic pilasters frame the doorway. Two ridgeline chimneys rise above the low?pitched roof. Centered on the south elevation is a narrow secondary doorway set beneath a small dentillated pediment. - AsNotedIn
