Hewitt and Paist was the successor firm to Hewitt, Stevens and Paist which was established by William D Hewitt, Benjamin R Stevens and Phineas Paist and operated from 1907 to 1909. Hewitt and Paist, which also only lasted two years, was disbanded when Alfred Granger of Chicago joined William D Hewitt and Phineas Paist in the new partnership of Hewitt, Granger and Paist. - AsNotedIn
