Westray Ladd

Westray Ladd was born in Hong Kong but removed with his family to Bucksport, Maine at the age of one year. Ladd spent ten years in the offices of several Boston architectural firms including those of William Emerson and Peabody and Stearns. He established his own office in Philadelphia in 1893. In Maine, Ladd designed at least three residences as well as a school in Bucksport. - NRHP
