South Orange

South Orange, officially the Township of South Orange Village, is a township in Essex County, New Jersey notable as the home to Seton Hall University and for Victorian era gas lights that illuminate the town. Many of the major streets are lit with modern mercury vapor streetlights (installed in gaslight frames), but most of the residential areas of the town are lit by about 1,400 gas lamps. - AsNotedIn
