1831/00/00 After a 19th c fire destroyed several important buildings, the nuns then in residence were transfer to a convent in Baltimore, Maryland, and the monastery was abandoned
1933/00/00 Philip Hubert Frohman Architect A local organization, The Restorers of Mt Carmel in Maryland, restore the two remaining buildings and build a new chapel
