The Center of Japan

Nihonbashi Bridge is a 20th century arch bridge that spans the Nihonbashi River in the Chuo City Ward of Tokyo, Japan. A large medallion on the structure marks the Zero Kilometer in Japan. Which is the starting point from measuring road distances. The Gokaido, the five main roads leading from Tokyo, begin at the bridge. The bronze lampposts that light the structure are of a particular fine quality. - AsNotedIn
