Gunflint Lodge was built as a Minnesota Northwoods fishing lodge in 1925 (the original main lodge building burned down, June 1953) and has been run by the Kerfoot family since the 1960s. Activities include fishing, canoe trips on Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness lakes and exploring the forest. In the winter there is ice fishing, dog sledding and cross-country skiing. - AsNotedIn
