Bounded on the north by the south side of the Appomattox River, on the east and west by the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad tracks and the Seaboard Air Line Railroad Bridge, and the south by the tracks of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad (to the east of N Davis St) and the rear (southern) property lines of buildings facing the 200 block of High Street and W Bank Street. These boundaries were determined by historical patterns, the architectural integrity of the site, and the defined edges provided by the river and the railroad tracks. - NRHP Registration, 12 September 2008
