1845/00/00 Thomas S Stewart Architect The Egyptian Building is the first building constructed for Hampden-Sydney College, later renamed the Medical College of Virginia
1939/00/00 Exterior of the Egyptian Building is renovated, paid for by Bernard Baruch in memory of his father who graduated from Medical College of Virginia in 1862 and served as a Confederate surgeon during the Civil War. None of the original interiors survive.
