1955/05/24 Zick and Sharp Architect The first desegregated casino, Moulin Rouge Hotel, opens at 900 W Bonanza Road, Las Vegas, NV. The hotel closed in October 1955 and filed for bankruptcy in December. After a series of fires, the building was razed in 2017. The sign is at the Neon Museum.
1961/00/00 Paul R Williams Architect La Concha Motel opens at 2955 Las Vegas Blvd South in Las Vegas, Nevada. Closed in 2004, most of the motel was razed but the lobby was saved and moved to the Neon Museum in 2006.
