1935/00/00 The Packos acquire the current building on the corner of Front and Consaul streets. Tony learned the restaurant business while working for his older brother, John, who owned the Consaul Tavern located on what is now the Tony Packo's parking lot.
1972/06/27 Burt Reynolds Actor Lois Nettleton and Burt Reynolds star in "The Rainmaker" at Ken Shaw's Summer Star Theatre at the Toledo Masonic Auditorium. During the play's run, Nancy Packo Horvath, co-owner of Tony Packo's, asks Reynolds to stop by the restaurant.
1972/07/00 Burt Reynolds Life During a visit to Tony Packo's, Nancy asks for Burt Reynolds for an autograph. Instead of signing a napkin, Reynolds signs a hot dog bun, thus staring a tradition of celebrities signing buns at Packo's. Reynolds will return to Tony Packo's many times.
