1851/00/00 Frank Wills Architect Designed in the American Gothic Revival style by architect Frank Wills, the first St James the Less is erected on land leased to the church by William Sherbrooke Popham for one silver dime a year.
1882/00/00 Fire destroys St James the Less. Only the walls, built of local stone, are left standing. The church is rebuilt almost as it had been by using these walls.
1887/07/31 William Bailey Lang In Memoriam William Bailey Lang is buried at Saint James the Less Episcopal Church Cemetery, Scarsdale, NY.
1922/00/00 Hobart Upjohn Architect To accommodate an expanding population, a separate Church House is added.
