1443/06/00 Jean de Ockeghem Vocation Jean de Ockeghem is appointed a singer at Antwerp Cathedral, staying until 1444.
1521/00/00 First phase of the Cathedral of Our Lady is finished. The south tower reaches only as high as the third string course.
1533/10/05 During the night of 5-6 October 1533, Cathedral of Our Lady is largely gutted by fire, however Lancelot II of Ursel manages to save the building. The completion of the second tower is delayed.
