1926/00/00 The Lasky-DeMille Barn is move to the back lot of United Studios, present day Paramount Studios, where it will be used as a film set, research library, conference area and later the Paramount gymnasium.
1956/12/13 "The Rainmaker" is released as an American feature film directed by Joseph Anthony starring Burt Lancaster and Katharine Hepburn. Integrated into the Paramount studios backlot, the Lasky-DeMille Barn is used in the film as a train station.
1956/12/27 Adolph Zukor Dignitary Jesse L Lasky Feature Play Co founders, dedicate the Lasky-DeMille Barn as "Hollywood's First Major Film Company Studio". Designate as California State Historic Landmark No 554, the building represents the birth of the Hollywood motion picture industry.
