Barton, Cowley and Lord North Streets are a well preserved enclave of early 18th Century, residences in the City of Westminster, London. Barton Street and Cowley Street were built by Barton Booth, an actor and former student at the Westminster school under Dr Busby. He named Booth Street after himself and Cowley Street to honor his favorite poet, Abraham Cowley. During the early twentieth century, Welsh diplomat T E Lawrence lived at 14 Cowley St. - AsNotedIn
